Despite needing overtime, UConn shows progress in 2-1 win over LIU
The Huskies' first victory back from the winter break was closer than it probably should've been.
In a perfect world, UConn men’s hockey wouldn’t have needed to go to overtime to beat the LIU Sharks, who came in ranked 56th in Pairwise. The Huskies would’ve found the back of the net more than once in regulation to put the game away earlier. They would’ve made it look a lot easier than they ultimately did on Thursday night.
