UConn can't hold off Quinnipiac in CT Ice final
The Huskies led entering the third period, but the Bobcats' late push proved to be too much.
UConn men’s hockey was 20 minutes away from a trophy. As the third period began in the CT Ice championship game at M&T Bank Arena, the Huskies held a 3-2 lead over the No. 3 Quinnipiac Bobcats. Keep it — or build on it — and they’d have their first major trophy under Mike Cavanaugh.
